I ordered two of the same item. One was perfect. One was missing several parts. But PrairieGrit’s customer service saved the day. I don’t know if I would buy from this specific seller again, but I would buy through PrairieGrit again without hesitation. The item itself is fine. I don’t know if I would put it somewhere “special” (I put it on my back patio). The plastic blades and light cover make it look cheap. But it was super easy to install, seems to be well built, and it’s super quiet.
The receiver for the remote was broken and needed to be bypassed. I will have to spend additional money to buy a new receiver and remote to put in its place
The product came quickly. This particular item that was received is definitely more than just an open box item, it is obvious that it has been previously installed, and for some reason repackaged and returned. We will install it and see if it functions properly. If not, we will look to have it returned and refunded. We are hoping for the best though!
Description states that the sockets are an antique nickel, but the ones we received were a brass. We did not bother to return as it wasn’t enough of an issue to go through the process of returning and waiting for a replacement, but nickel should be a duller silver color and we received a brass color socket.
The picture for this product (on other websites as well) shows shiny chrome but the description of brushed nickel is accurate. Exactly what I was looking for to match the 4 light vanity in my bathroom. Ordering was easy, shipping was lightning fast, product cost less than at other stores, and it arrived in perfect condition! Clearly stated return policy is why I purchased, in case the color was wrong. So glad I found this store. Highly recommend!
